Kristin Lamar, Esq.

Kristin Lamar received her Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2000. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2005.

Since being admitted to the bar in 2006, Ms. Lamar has focused her career exclusively in bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Prior to joining Doan Law Firm, LLP, Ms. Lamar was an associate in a New York based firm in their bankruptcy and corporate reorganization department. Her practice focused on insolvency and corporate restructuring, distressed financings, business counseling, contract negotiations, commercial litigation, and debtor/committee representations in complex chapter 11 cases. Ms. Lamar also worked for a chapter 7 trustee in the southern and eastern districts of New York.

Ms. Lamar is a member of the New York State Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the southern and eastern districts of New York. She is currently awaiting admission to the California Bar Association.
