In 1996, at age 20, Guillermo Machado received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin.
After many years of pursuing a career in the written/performing arts, Guillermo chose to attend Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, CA. Learning from some of the wisest men and women in the legal profession, Guillermo graduated top in his class, was the managing editor of the school's Law Review, and participated on the school's Moot Court Team.
Immediately upon passing the California Bar exam on his first attempt, Guillermo landed his first job as an associate attorney with the largest consumer bankruptcy firm in the country.
After several rigorous, yet successful, months of helping clients with debt, Guillermo was privileged with an invitation to join the Doan Law Firm. Here he has been able to hone his skills as a bankruptcy attorney, learning from some of the best in the industry.
Today, Guillermo provides knowledge and compassion as he guides his many clients on the road to recovery from debt and financial turmoil, and is a frequent contributor to the Doan Law Firm Bankruptcy Blog.
